Payment and Refund Policies
The total value of the Israel Unfiltered trip is $8,495, which includes: international round-trip flights from LAX, VIP greeting at Ben Gurion Airport, a licensed tour educator, a security guard and medic with the group daily, gratuities to guide and driver, all meals, laundry services (x2 on the trip), accommodations in Israel, and basic travel insurance.
Teens and their families may be eligible for the following grants and vouchers to help alleviate trip costs:
- All teens will receive a $1000 grant from the Zeff family.
- Teens may be eligible for an additional $1,000 grant from Jewish Federation of San Diego (unless they received a similar past grant from Federation).
- Teens who meet all pre-trip requirements will receive a RootOne voucher of $3,000.
- The payment schedule for Israel Unfiltered 2025 is as follows:
- To reserve your teen’s spot on the trip, a $1000 deposit is due at the time of acceptance and is refundable until March 1, 2026. After March 1, the deposit is not refundable. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended.
- April 1, 2026: The $3,495 total balance is due and no longer refundable.
- May 1, 2026: Any remaining balance is due if RootOne voucher / other grants are not applicable.
